Ayatollah Nur Allah Tabarsi was born on 1940 (1319) in Suchelma village environs Neka in Mazandaran. He commenced his education in Maktab Khaneh (unofficial school) of his village and he went to Ayatollah Soltani seminary when he was twelve and after learning some parts of primary for two years he entered Qom Seminary.
He was learned Level and Extra lessons in Qom Seminary by distinguished teachers and got the Ijtihad Decree. He had studied some parts of Extra lesson under Imam Khomeini and during the struggles before the Revolution he was supported Revolution and Imam Khomeini Movement by publishing declarations and statements.
After the Revolution Ayatollah Tabarsi had some political posts for example he was the representative of Vali Faghih (Supreme Leader) in Sari, the Imam of Sari, and the representative of Sari people in Majlis Khobregan (Assembly of Experts) in third and fourth periods.
