Ayatollah Haj Seyyed Mohammad Shahcheraghi was born on 1935 (1313) to a Sadat family, also religious and devoted to the family of the Prophet(PBUH), in Hasanabad Damghan. He is a Sadat Musavi and his origin is from Hazrat Shahcheragh (AS). After primary education he went to Damghan to learn religious science and he was benefited by the presence of the masters of this seminary. Then he moved to Qom to improve his education and attended the classes of Imam Khomeini, Ayatollah Golpaiegani, Meshkin, Sotudeh, Jafar Sobhani, Soltani Tabatabaei, Mohaghegh Damad, and Haeri Yazdi. He has also taught in the Seminary, as well as studying there. He was the Imam of A’bedinieh mosque in Semnan and used that mosque as a center of cultural and political activities for revolutionary struggles against the Pahlavi Regime and because of that he was prohibited to give lectures on 1975 (1353). After the victory of the Islamic Revolution he was appointed as the Imam of Friday Prayer in Mahdishar city. His other activities are:
